Hey guys. Guess what I've been up to lately!

Not only did I just land an awesome internship at Current TV (I've aaaaalways wanted to work there!), I'm also speaking to middle school kids Saturday morning at Mills College about what it's like to be a freelance artist in "The Industry." xD People actually think I'm good at stuff. That's funny. And flattering! And sad, because I know there are like a million people better than me...but those people are making thousands more than I make now, so I guess I've no room to be sad.

I've been having some trouble figuring out what "my style" is lately. I don't fit in as general anime/manga, nor do I mesh well with American Marvel-esque styles, and I'm certainly not a cartoony style. So I need to come up with a method to help me understand my style better, so I can feel more comfortable drawing. Any suggestions?

You might work on being able to emulate those popular styles, and then work on 'your' style. From an industry stand point, you probably want to be able to do whatever style an employer is looking for and not ever lose work because you can't draw 'supar buff marvel on 'roids' style. 'n stuff.
